The Eiffel Tower

The tower was designed by the structural engineer Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 World’s Fair. With a height of 324 meters and 1665 steps, it overlooks the city of Paris and offers incredible views across the city of love.

The Louvre Museum
With its famous glass pyramid in front the museum, The Louvre is one of the world's largest museums and the most visited art museum in the world.
The museum was opened in 1793; it has now nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 19th century over an area of 60,600 square meters. Its most visited paintings remained the portrait of the Mona Lisa from Leonardo Da Vinci and Liberty leading the People from Ferdinand Victor Eugene Delacroix.
The price is 9.50€ per person for all the permanent exhibitions.

Its construction was particularly long because it started in 1163 and ended in 1345, which represents two centuries of work.
Within Notre Dame, there are five bells; the most famous one is the bourbon’s bell, in the South Tower, which weighs just over 13 tons.
Averages of 13.5 million visitors come every year to admire the finest examples of French Gothic architecture with its fantastic’s towers and threatening gargoyles.
The Cathedral opens its doors every day, from 8 am to 6:45 p.m. on weekdays and until 7:15 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free for all.

The famous modern Grande Arche de la Defense was built in 1989, following the plans of Presidents Pompidou and Giscard d'Estaing.
The district was named after the iconic statue La Défense de Paris, which was erected in 1883 to commemorate the heroic soldiers who had defended Paris during the Franco-Prussian War.
You can reach this district with the Metro 1 or the RER A.

On demand of the king Louis XIV, The National Residence of the Invalids was built in 1676 to shelter aged and unwell soldiers.
Nowadays, it contains museums and monuments, all relating to the military history of France but it is still a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans.
The Invalides holds the sarcophagus of Napoleon Bonaparte.
The entrance to the Invalides costs 9€ for people paying full price and 7€ for the reduced rates. The Invalides are opening its doors every day.

Known as "The most beautiful avenue of the world" the the Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous and expensive streets in the world.

Disneyland Paris
The Disneyland Paris was established in 1992 east of the French capital and consists of two theme parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
It covers about 2000 hectares and also includes hotels, a golf course, stations and everything you need there. The park welcomes every day tourists from all over Europe.
